Southern Ontario – Niagara Region

Generating power with purpose

Our role in Ontario isn’t just measured by kilowatts (although we’re really good at producing them); it’s measured by our relationships, the impact we make and the future we leave to the next generation. That’s why we strive to be good corporate citizens who care about the environmental, economic and social wellbeing of all Ontario.

Generating community spirit

OPG’s Corporate Citizenship Program focuses on these areas:

  • Environment
  • Education, and
  • Community (health and safety, arts and culture, youth amateur sport, humanitarian and local causes), including support of Indigenous initiatives.

We are proud of our many Niagara Region community partnerships, which include St. John Ambulance, the Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair, and the Niagara Winter Festival of Lights.

Plus student awards and more than 100 not-for-profit initiatives in Niagara Falls, Niagara-On-the-Lake, St. Catharines, and Welland.
